The Ontario Fencing Association has announced the selection criteria for the 2016 Ontario Summer Games. More information can be found on the OFA website.

Registration for session 2 of all programs is now open. Mini-Musketeers, Youth Learn to Fence & Adult Learn to Fence classes will all begin the week of Jan 11th.

Cutting Edge athletes competed at the Canada Cup in Gatineau this weekend. While no medals were won this time, our fencers still achieved some excellent results.
Caroline Whitehead – 7th in U15 women’s sabre
Danielle Burghgraef – 10th in junior & 15th in senior women’s sabre
Michael Mussari – 12th in junior & 14th in senior men’s epee
Zaq Quinsey – 12th in cadet men’s epee
David Eliot – 14th in junior men’s epee
Cutting Edge athletes came away with 4 medals at the Queen’s Open this past weekend. Leading the way was Matthias Leuprecht who took the gold in both cadet & senior men’s sabre. Earning bronze medals were Danielle Burghgraef in senior women’s sabre and Bill Mason in veterans sabre. Well done!!
