Leo to Rio 2016

Congratulations to our Cutting Edge athletes who competed in the Ontario Provincial Fencing championships held at RMC this past weekend.

Matthias Leuprecht won gold in junior men’s sabre and silver in cadet, while Bill Mason took the gold in Vet 60+ sabre.

We also had a number of top 8 results: Michael Mussari was 5th in junior men’s epee, Danielle Burghgraef was 5th in junior women’s sabre, Caroline Whitehead was 5th in U15 women’s sabre and 7th in cadet, and Bill Mason was 7th in veterans men’s sabre.

The Youth and Adult Learn to Fence programs are canceled tonight due to the anticipated weather and road conditions.

This is a reminder that there will be no practice (Mini-Musketeers, Youth Advanced, Competitive) on Monday February 15th.

Mackinnon upsets top epee fencer in the world
