The final day of competition at the Vancouver Canada Cup saw Kerr Hutchinson finish 7th in senior men’s épée while Danielle Burghgraef finished 8th in cadet women’s sabre. After three days of competition, Cutting Edge athletes earned 2 medals and 3 top 8 results. Well done!
After the first two days of competition at the Canada Cup in Vancouver, athletes from Cutting Edge have won two medals and achieved two other top 8 results. Kerr Hutchinson won the silver medal in the university men’s épée event and the bronze in junior men’s épée. Leonora Mackinnon finished 5th in junior women’s épée. David Eliot took 6th place in cadet men’s épée.
Michael Mussari won gold in cadet men’s épée at the Challenge des Dynamiques in Montreal today. Well done Michael.

Two Cutting Edge athletes enjoyed excellent results at the North American Cup in Cleveland this past weekend. On Sunday, Kerr Hutchinson finished an impressive 13th out of 310 competitors and achieved the second best Canadian result in Division 1 men’s épée. Then on Monday, Leonora MacKinnon finished 8th out of 145 in junior women’s épée and had the best Canadian result.
